Coccidiosis is a global disease rampant in farms where hygiene conditions are poor. It has a direct impact on the food consumption and hence slower growth and production. Alecid: this is an anticoccidial whose active ingredient is very active sulphaquinoxaline and pyrimethamine on coccidia. The pyrimethamine and sulphaquinoxaline block the synthesis of vitamin B9 (folate) needed for multiplication of schizonts (as coccidia). That is why the Alecid is effective on all species of coccidia.

Prevention, simply administer 1ml/litre water animals for 5 days. In case of severe coccidiosis, it is advisable to resume treatment after a break of 3 days.

The 3prémiers days 24heure light is applied from 4 days until the end of the second week, down to 23 hours and descend one hour per week to the 12th week. From the 13th week until the 16th week, the light is maintained at 12 hours and is gradually raised to reach 16 hours at 26 weeks (see table).
